TOTAL KNEE PROSTHESIS WITH ROTATING AND CONGRUENT TIBIAL INSERT

The total knee prosthesis ROLFLEX system resumes the concept of the highly congruent and rotating insert postero stabilized TKA.

ROLFLEX is available in universal version characterized by a symmetric rotation insert or in anatomical version characterized by a medialized rotation of the insert.

Whatever the version, the femoral and tibial implants are available in 5 sizes. Polyethylene inserts -made in PEXEL grade material- are available in 4 or 5 thicknesses according to the version.

And as for the Anatomic Rolflex, the polyethylene material used for the bearings is the PEXEL: moderately crosslinked which delivers significant wear resistance without reducing the mechanical caracteristics of the material.

A particular care was brought to the femoro-patellar joint:
  • Patellar implant -either in resurfaced or embedded version- have a dome shape perfectly congruent with a deep trochlear groove
  • the bony preparation of the femoral crankcase is realized in light flessum in order to reduce patellar stress during flexion

Both anatomic and universal components of the ROLFLEX system can be mixed and matched.
